Portfolio

As a former math teacher, I have always been fascinated by the power of data to reveal patterns and insights. Now as a data analyst, I am excited to apply my skills and expertise to real-world challenges and help organizations make data-driven decisions. In this portfolio, you will find examples of my work using various tools and techniques to analyze data and uncover insights that drive positive change.

Data Exploration in SQL

This project involved exploring a COVID-19 dataset from ourworldindata.org using SQL BigQuery. Through data exploration techniques, I was able to uncover insights into COVID-19 trends and patterns, such as changes in infection rates and mortality rates over time.

Data Cleaning in SQL

In this project, I used SQL to clean public housing data from Nashville, Tennessee, by developing queries to identify and correct errors such as missing values and inconsistent formatting. By cleaning the data, I was able to gain valuable insights into affordable housing demand and trends in tenant demographics.
